As part of the application process, we asked Emily why she wanted to attend TWUC. She shared:
"Industry conferences are as much about learning as the connections made, and I am looking for those opportunities. TWUC 2025 represents an invaluable opportunity to advance my professional development through focused learning sessions and networking with industry peers. In our evolving field, connecting with professionals outside of my organization and gaining fresh perspectives is crucial for continued growth and success."
Well said, Emily!
Trevor Walter
I was born in Sothern California, where I called home for 23 years. I moved to Texas in 2015 for an opportunity within the Insurance Industry and have never looked back since! I started out with an entry level role in Personal Lines, moved to Commercial Lines in 2017, and in February 2020 I began my current position as a Life Underwriter. Getting into insurance has been a blessing, especially being able to diversify myself through different lines of business, but Life Underwriting is where I have enjoyed my career progression the most! Outside of work, I enjoy traveling back to California to visit family, surf, and snowboard. I also enjoy hiking, rodeos, lacrosse, and exploring the great State of Texas and all it has to offer!
